T J Ritner Atchison longtime druggist died suddenly at his home 925 North Sixth street at age 70 after a short illness. Born 1859 in Danville Iowa he came to Atchison in 1887 and built a 35 year drug business with Bereman. Survived by wife Annie and children Pauline Helen and Robert with several grandchildren and sisters. Funeral plans pending at Sawin Douglass chapel.

Train Victim Identified Atchison Leavenworth Soldier Case
The body of Raymond R. Fitzpatrick 39 a World War II veteran and former Cedar Rapids Ia resident was identified in Atchison as the Missouri Pacific train victim found in the lower yards Monday night. An inked number on underwear aided identification by the Leavenworth Old Soldiers home. Fitzpatrick had not been seen since Monday dinner. Burial planned in Leavenworth Old Soldiers cemetery. No inquest.

Darline Wolfley aged 2, granddaughter of William and Mrs. Dent, died after a mule kicked her in the yard of Carl Hoffman’s farm near Oak Mills.
