Dr John Wesley Graham 66 longtime Wetmore physician and civic leader died at home after brief illness. A Civil War veteran and first Wetmore mayor, he taught, ran a drug store, led GAR, and helped launch Wetmore's electric plant. He leaves two sons and two daughters. Funeral set for 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Wetmore. plans to be finalized.

William G Jones 64 formerly of the Cummings community died at his Oak Mills home after a year of illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday at Cummings Methodist Church, with burial in Cummings cemetery. He was born August 15 1868 and lived in Cummings until moving seven years ago. He married Maria Ellen Parrott May 1 1889 at Oskaloosa. Survived by ten children and 17 grandchildren, plus a sister.

G E Hanna 68 Takes Own Life in Blue Rapids
G E Hanna 68 formerly of Atchison and owner of Hanna Poultry outfits in Golf and Blue Rapids ended his life by shooting himself in a Blue Rapids room. In poor health and told he had little time to live, he had recently moved from Central City Nebraska to live with a son. He died about 30 minutes after a maid found him. Survived by son Wilson Hanna in Central City and daughter Mrs Marvin Scott of Topeka.

Fred Eiche, 75, Atchison county farmer, died at 7:45 last night in Atchison hospital after a roadway accident near Sunny Side school on highway 73 E. He suffered a concussion and later a possible stroke, per doctors. A lifelong Walnut township resident, bachelor, he served 50 years as road overseer and is survived by three brothers and two sisters.
