The English classes begin a picture study with mounted and bound pictures to accompany compositions. A Freshmen Sophomore reception was well enjoyed, with committees performing well. Henry B. Vanderslice born January 3 1848 in Buckhorn Pennsylvania. Married Anna S. Leidy March 24 1870 in Franklin Grove Illinois. Survived by wife four children K B Edwards Nona and D L four sisters two brothers and five grandchildren. Died October 16 after five days bed rest from pellagra buried in Fairhope cemetery.

The funeral for Sarah Ann Worthington Earl, longtime Methodist member, was conducted Saturday at the Methodist Episcopal church by Rev. Fred A. Graham. Born July 4 1886 near Columbus Ohio she died October 15 1917 in Cucamonga California at age 81 3 11. She leaves two brothers three sisters one step daughter and one grand child.
