A crash involving a railroad wrecking crew at Brown avenue crossed wires over the railway causing extensive outages for 150 Farmers' Telephone patrons. The derrick struck and broke nine copper circuits while lines to the south and east of town were cut off. railway and telephone crews repaired the damage Tuesday and Wednesday.
