Mrs. Louisa Wallace Wolf aged 75 years 10 months died at her Franklin Grove home after years of diabetes and cancer. Born in Maryland she moved with her family to Ogie county then to Lee county. She leaves a large family including nine children and a longtime husband of 56 years. Funeral services were in the Brethren church at Franklin Grove with Rev. C. M. Suter. Interment at Franklin Grove cemetery. Attendees from Ashton included several neighbors and relatives.

Died at Dysart Iowa Mrs Minnie Eckhardt
Mrs Minnie Eckhardt sister of Christ Kurth of Rochelle died Sunday in Dysart Iowa at 64 years five months and 17 days. She was born in Germany April 16 1851 and came to America in 1867. She married Henry Eckhardt in 1869 and had fifteen children, twelve surviving. The family lived near Rochelle before moving to Dysart and later Rochelle for funeral services at the Lutheran church with interment in Rochelle.
