Ira Walker Fugitive From Justice Still At Large
Deputy Sheriff Wiener and Chief Stephan pursued Ira Walker after he broke jail and threatened his sister in law Miss Worley. Walker fled after being subdued, fled the jail through a window and left a note. He had recently bought an S and W revolver and discussed shooting his sister in Rochelle and Ashton locations. Walker’s past two years include a riot, a demolished tele phone, and other dockets in Ogle and Lee counties.
