Ashton Chapter 575 Order of the Eastern Star held its annual school of instruction starting Monday night and continuing Tuesday with many out-of-town attendees. The event honored Mrs. Fred Thompson of Chicago as the instructor winner, with social hours and luncheon for participants including Mrs. Armington, Mrs. Hiteley, Mr. and Mrs. Wirick, and others.
