Mae Elizabeth Schafer wed Clarence C. Kersten at noon yesterday at the bride’s parents home. Rev. J. G. Eller officiated before relatives with Nora Neuman playing Lohengrin. The couple plan a western wedding trip and will reside on a farm near Rochelle after holidays.
A special service of song titled Christmas at the Presbyterian is planned for next Sunday evening at the church. The program features choral and vocal selections likely to draw congregants seeking seasonal worship and musical reflection.
