Beloved Minnie Mall Dies at 47 After Long Illness
Funeral held Tuesday for Minnie M. Mall wife of Joseph Mall and mother of Alma and Helen. Born August 24 1869 in Bradford Township she moved to Ashton with her family and joined the Bradford United Evangelical church, later transferring to Ashton. She was active in the Woman's Missionary Society and Royal Neighbors of America. The service at the United Evangelical church was led by Rev J G Eller with a large turnout of relatives and friends attending.

At the December meeting of Ashton Camp No. 48 Modern Woodmen of America selected officers for 1917 led by Venerable Consul Adam Faber and Worthy Advisor Harry G. Cluts The camp reported 147 members the largest in years A social hour followed. Laborer Irvin Fegley was found dead from heart failure on the Wingert farm after cutting wood He was about 50 and survived by a wife and a 17 year old daughter. Christmas cake orders due by December 22 with 4312 C O Baker listed.

The tour covers the 103 acre complex, 4,486,680 square feet of floor space, daily capacity of 1,000 cars, and growth from 250 employees in 1908 to 17,300 in 1916.
