Subway Construction Starts On Ditch Sewer Project
Contractor John M. Egan Jr begins the final ditch work for the sewer system with a new subway shaft at Paddock avenue and the alley between Lincoln Way and the North Western railway. A second shaft will follow on Killion avenue as crews work two shifts to complete the tunnel through rock two months from start.
