Old Resident Mrs Yorty Interred in Ashton Cemetery
The remains of Mrs. John Yorty were brought from Mayfair Cook County to Ashton cemetery for interment. Rev Johnson spoke at the burial. Caroline Bowman born 1828 in Dauphin County Pennsylvania married John Yorty in 1850 and the couple moved to Ashton in 1866 then to Roby South Dakota in 1882 before settling in Mayfair Chicago.

Ministers Return to Lead Sunday Services
