Goldfish Fever Hits Aquariums London Show 1975
London hosts Aquarium 75, a three day fish exhibition drawing thousands amid economic slump. Whittington of the British Goldfish Society laments 1975 as the worst year for breeding yet attendees admire koi, carp, and 200 species. Prize specimens sell high, including goldfish up to 2100 dollars in Japan, while vendors showcase tanks, plants, and gear.
