The Pacific Coast Chapter of the Railway and Locomotive Historical Society will stage a centennial train retracing the Central Pacific line from Oakland to Sacramento via Suisun Fairfield and back via Niles. The event honors the California Chinese community’s role in the Bay Area connection and includes a Sacramento stop with a plaque dedication near the San Joaquin River bridge.
