Wistaria Vine at Fennel Home Draws Thousands in Sierra Madre
Several thousand visitors have viewed the famed wistaria vine at Mr and Mrs Henry T Fennel 201 West Carter Ave Sierra Madre over the past ten days and hundreds more are expected. The vine planted 24 years ago by Mrs W F Brugman of Pasadena now covers the porch and surrounds the house forming a 250 foot long living arbor. A scenic outlook nearby offers valley and mountain views accessible via Foot Hill boulevard and a signposted auto route to Scenic Point.
