At the Board of Trade meeting last Monday Arcadia shifted affiliation to the Duarte Monrovia Arcadia sector in the County Farm Bureau. The districting change places Arcadia with Monrovia and Duarte due to proximity. Dr Billings was elected secretary of the Duarte Monrovia Arcadia sector.

Death in Street Crash In South Pasadena
Mrs. Delia McGowan aged 68 living with her sister Mrs. Ida Marotz at 1711 Bushnell avenue South Pasadena was fatally struck by an eastbound Monrovia car at Businell street and Huntington Drive while crossing with three other women. She died shortly after the 3:30 PM incident. She had been a former grand matron of the Order of Eastern Star in Montana.
