New City Park Planned at Firsts Avenue and Huntington Drive
The Co operative Arcadian club plans a five acre city park on the former reservoir site at Firsts Avenue and Huntington Drive. A pavilion and possibly a municipal swimming pool are proposed with landscaping by Anita Baldwin s gardener. The board of city trustees backs the project and work could begin this spring for a park by next summer.

May Remodel First Avenue School for Auditorium Conversion
School trustees weigh remodeling the first floor of the First Avenue building to form an auditorium.
