In Buffalo on September 9, physicians and observers report President McKinley has passed the crisis of his wounds. The night was seen as decisive and he slept well. The President’s condition is improved and likely to begin a recovery, though complications remain possible but less probable.
BurfaLo New York reports Emma Goldman anarchist leader was in Buffalo last Monday near Czolgosz’s residence. Superintendent Ball sought her arrest, New York police investigate at Governor Odell’s request, with officers tracing a woman matching Goldman’s description to Buffalo and the Central railroad. A ticket to Chicago or St Louis is suspected.
