Woman Survives Niagara Falls Barrel Descent
Niagara Falls on the Canadian side saw Mrs. Annie Edson Taylor aged 50 complete a barrel descent yesterday afternoon. She survived with a scalp wound, a slight concussion, nervous shock, and body bruises, remaining conscious on removal and expected to recover in days.

Prominent Georgia Attorney Porter King Dies in Atlanta
Prominent Georgian attorney and state legislator Porter King, brother of Jos H King of this city, died suddenly of apoplexy last night at his Atlanta home 79 East Merrits avenue. He had attended a legislative session, planned to build a home at Decatur, and collapsed after dizziness while dictating a letter. He died about 9:30 PM with his law partner Lewis W Thomas and Dr Hall in attendance.
