Court house project halted as Houser Wolsoncroft assigns

The Calhoun county courthouse contract halted after the firm of S C Houser and Thomas Wolsoncroft assigns assets of 37 565.09 and liabilities 42 534.38 to assignees M B Wellborn and F L Blackmen. Assets and liabilities balance with about ten percent difference. Court house work suspended until county commissioners decide whether Houser Wolsoncroft finishes or another path is taken.
