Railroads at Decatur and Huntsville tied to longstanding litigation. total claims exceed four to five million dollars. Plaintiffs named Friedrich Nachod, Max Jaffe, August Stern, Wilhelm Knauth, Oscar L. Gubelman, Arend H. Weingardt, Rollin C. Newton, Mary W. Knauth, and Percival Kuhn. Anniston officials report Seaboard Air Line must pay a 25000 forfeit to begin the Model City extension. Mayor Dr J L Wikle says the franchise term to start by Feb 1 was extended to April 1 and no word has come from Seaboard on the proposed extension. A further extension may be requested as surveys proceed.
