Penitents Face City Court Fines Amounting To Fifty Four Dollars

Mayor presided over police court sessions this morning settling disputes among several Darktown maids and others. Two men were fined 5.80 each, a white man 11.50 for code violations, and four white women 11.50 and 6.50. Additional cases were adjourned to tomorrow with total fines and costs reaching 54.10.
