United States Deputy Revenue Collectors G P McClurkin and W W Battle staged two raids in Cleburne county near Borden Springs on Tuesday capturing two moonshine outfits in full operation. Large quantities of mash beer and whisky were destroyed with no arrests due to lack of arrest authority. Five men worked at one plant and two at the other, caught by surprise as they prepared the stills. The product was authentic corn juice with no adulterants.
