Gunmen robbed the Hart financial bank in Hart Pa forcing cashier Charle Ryan to reveal the cash. Rowe and Weston Keiper fired, Ryan was mortally wounded and died that night. Authorities captured the suspects later and brought them to Harrisburg for questioning as officers hunted for accomplices.
There is a small but hopeful change in General T. Anderson's condition as he lies gravely ill on Wilmer Street. He was able to take nourishment today, though doctors fear the illness may worsen with uraemic poisoning from kidney failure.
At a special meeting held yesterday afternoon at Mrs. W. G. Scott's residence the Highland Golf Club voted to build a modern Club House on the club links just east of Tyler Hill. The club, with 27 members of a 30 member limit, is described as prosperous.
Indianapolis March 15 The funeral of Gen Benjamin Harrison former president of the United States has been announced. The body will lie in state at the capitol tomorrow from 11 o’clock in the morning until 10 o’clock in the evening.

Weston Shaw a sixteen year old from Inwood L I fell twenty five feet while roofing in Far Rockaway January 16. He crushed three dorsal vertebra and severed the spinal cord. Doctors called his case hopeless but Dr M F Lee removed the crushed vertebra and a four inch section of spinal cord. Six weeks later he remains alive but paralyzed from the waist down and dependent on morphine for pain.
Jimmie Lee, a young street cart driver employed by Overseer L P Cooper, lost sight in one eye when heated slag burst from a furnace pile during a slag hauling operation. He remains at home on South Noble street suffering severe injuries.
A county convention in Talladega instructed delegates to oppose tax increases and to resist any move to reduce county area to 500 square miles. Nominees from the county include W. Ledbetter of Sylacauga and O. Brown of Talladega, with 3. B. Graham and John B. Kannx as delegates from district and state at large respectively.
