A Dolly Express correspondent reports an imperial decree from Shanghai noting the imperial palace in Pekin was burned on June 16 during a revolt by Chinese troops. The blast follows fighting that killed about 160 at the Tien Tsin mission with Americans British Germans and Russians among the dead.
