The Calhoun county Board of Pension Examiners will convene at Wikle's Drug Store in Anniston on the first Monday in July 1901 for a ten day session to review applications. Under the amended law an honorable discharge or parole suffices for service proof without two witnesses. rejected applicants may reapply with grounds of prior refusal shown. widows must prove widowhood with two witnesses if pension was on the roll at death.
