The body of Governor Samford rested in the Supreme Court chamber in Montgomery until 10 am. The Lady was given to the family and the body was sent by train to Opelika for burial at the home of Hon. Thomas D. Samford. Funeral services are planned at the Episcopal church with Rev. H. D. Moore presiding.
