Resume of Work at United States Cast Iron Pipe Plant Nears
The United States Cast Iron Pipe company plant, idle since Christmas for repairs, is nearly ready to resume operations in all departments next Thursday with some departments starting Thursday and others the following week. About 150 workers have worked on repairs, and full operation will boost bi weekly city payrolls and overall business. Coal orders encouraged to Anniston Ice Co.
