Postmaster L. T. Smith was notified that a new rural mail delivery route from Anniston will start Tuesday January 15. The route extends northeast to Weaver Station and covers 27 square miles serving 535 people on 107 houses. Charles P. Harrison will operate the route. another Anniston route is being pursued.

Anniston Plant Lands 600 Car Order for Choctaw Route
Southern Car and Foundry Co receives an order for five hundred heavy box cars for the Choctaw Oklahoma and Gulf Railroad.
