Planned Death of Forty Persons Unearthed in Infirmary Plot
A plot to destroy the Adams county infirmary and kill its forty four inmates was uncovered as A W Butler inspected the facility. Beneath rubbish found by Charles Echerman were sixty pounds of dynamite two two pound bombs and eleven feet of fuse. Echerman, once reprimanded inmate, fled and is missing with the dynamite.
