Seaboard Air Line Railway releases a Summer Esewhere booklet detailing seaside and mountain resorts in the Carolinas and Virginia. Impounded stock taken up for running at large will be sold at the city hall Friday August 8 1902 at noon to cover pound fees unless claimed by owners and charges paid. Items include a black shoat a yellow muley cow a white and yellow sow a dark blaze faced horse a mare. Also notice about Southern Railway ticket sales to Atlanta August 4 5 and 2 4 8 from various points with round trip fare plus 50 cents and a 15 day final return limit.
Plans for the Anniston post office building have been received by Postmaster L. T. Smith and studied by locals. The elaborate design envisions a handsome stone structure, artistically arranged for public and post office needs, larger than drawn and long lasting.

Tickets available from Alabama points September 14 to 17 and from other points September 14 to 16 with final return limit September 27 1902. Tickets sold by any Southern Railway agent.
Physicians Ford and Sturgeon of Rocky Hill Station Ky report Dr. G B Singley requested Herbine for customers and three dozen were ordered in December. They praise the product, have repeated the order three times, and note Dr. G B Snigley recommends Hortine. Sold at 50 cents a bottle through J Le Wikles and J B Privett in Oxford Ala.
An advertisement offers Magnolia industry drink beer brewed in the south at 10 cents per bottle or 1 dollar per dozen. Sold only by R. E. Garner and R. B. Perkins.

The advertisement proclaims Warters' cigars as top quality with first class material and skilled workmen. It asserts there are no better five cent cigars than Warter's Hand-Made and the Kennesaw.

Mrs TI Woodliff and children return from Menlo springs and Gadsden. Miss Tissia Harmon returns from Trewn ton visit. An important Free Kindergarten Association meeting is planned for tomorrow at 5 pm at Mrs J C Sprouall's Quintard avenue home. Also ads urge Chamberlains Stomach Liver Tablets and Stag Paint. Blue Mountain lodge members asked to send post office address to the secretary.
The Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs opens on July 3 as an all-year resort under Frisco System management. Extensive renovations and improvements have been completed to position it as a top hostelry in the Southwest.
Huntsville, August 5. The Hon. John B. Knox spoke to a large crowd of voters at the courthouse last night. He was introduced by Hon. Robert B. Spragins, nominee for state senate, and left a favorable impression. An advertisement notes Foley's Kidney Cure as a medicine free from poisons that can cure kidney disease within reach of medicine.
The Southern Railway announces free hand some Summer Home folders detailing cut rate summer resorts across Tennessee North and South Carolina Virginia and Georgia. Traveling Passenger Agent E Jackson offers to mail the folders and provide rate information with special low summer rates along the railway line.
