Local report came to Anniston via Mr. T. J. Haley.

The Democratic executive committee for the Thirty-fourth district covering Coosa Clay and Cleburne counties ordered a Democratic primary for the state senate nomination to be held August 25. It adopted state rules and assessed each candidate fifteen dollars to cover primary expenses.
