Mantle sues over sixteenth interest in Speculator mine
Lee Mantle files another district court suit seeking an injunction and accounting against Speculator Mining company claiming a sixteenth interest and alleging the mine has yielded about 1.5 million dollars in ore over six months. George Melville and wife returned to the city from Philipsburg after attending the trial of Mrs. Melville's father J. C. Hunter who was tried for murder and sentenced to 99 years in the penitentiary.
