Dunn Admits Paying Blackmail in Ramsey Murder Trial
Frank J. Dunn testified in Ramsey county district court that in 1916 he paid $5,000 to Al Brown and S. C. Ferdig of Montana to keep them from telling of an alleged plot to hire them to kill his wife. He denied offering the trio a higher sum and said he feared they would implicate him and his wives. Dunn sobbed while recounting events after Mrs Dunn’s murder on April 26.
