The Adams department store grows under S. C. Adams and will erect a new building at the corner of Park and Cherry. Growth indicates rising business for the Anaconda outlet as it moves to larger quarters.
Ground will be broken immediately on a one-story brick building at Park avenue and Cherry street for Adams department store. Frontage 50 feet, length 125 feet, facing both streets, with completion set for Sept. 1. The new store will serve the growing business and is tied to the Cash Buyers' Union network of 48 stores across MT WA OR ID. Theuson at 504 East Park avenue promotes a free automobile offer.
Police Judge Hayes fined Mike Fabich twenty dollars after a lengthy explanation of resisting arrest by Officer Hartz. Fabich faced the option of ten days in jail and seemed to understand until the fine amount was stated.
