In Butte a doctor describes his tests of a San Francisco medium after reading letters from deceased relatives. He questions how a stranger could know family details and notes conflicting messages from spirits about life after death and atmosphere.
Dr. Whitford writes to B. E. Gallogly in Butte asking about a medium’s claim. EB E Gallogly confirms the father’s town and drugstore, saying the medium’s information is correct whether temporal knowledge or spiritual insight. He intends to confirm details with his sister.
