Well Known Avon Man Dies
Ephraim Thomas, a young Avon resident, died last Friday at the home of ID M Jones in Avon due to diabetes. He was a quiet, well regarded man, with many friends surprised by his illness. His parents reached his bedside before his death, and his body was taken to Malad Idaho for burial. He belonged to the Modern Woodmen of America, a delegation accompanying the casket to Deer Lodge.

Fire damages Frank Klose residence on Locust street
Early yesterday morning a blaze at Frank Klose’s home 813 Locust Street started from a defective chimney. Firefighters used chemical extinguishers to control the flames. one room’s papering was partially destroyed. Repair costs are estimated at about 25 dollars.
