In a suit by J W Thompson against Charley Dawson for alienation of his wife’s affections, a stipulation shows Dawson paid Thompson 3000 dollars and will cover case costs. The divorce was granted to Mrs Thompson without alimony and no remarriage within a year. An altercation with Herbert Dawson occurred that evening. sheriff removed Dawson to Nevada but a related complaint was dismissed after a general settlement.

Ditcher Ed O’Keefe Indicted in Nevada Case

Ed O’Keefe the man who assaulted H. C. Smith at the city pump house last year was indicted by the county grand jury in Nevada this week. He has been in the county jail since his arrest and faces trial in the coming days.
