Two Cases of Small Pox Sneak Into Village Area
No new cases have developed in the small pox scare northeast of town. Jackson of the ditch gang was the first case and has been released. A second man grew sick and is confined in the Pettinger house. The Ballard family, who fed the men, were under quarantine for three days. Ballard school, taught by Miss Dessa Copeland, is closed until the scare ends.
