On Saturday evening near the college town, W W Talbott and Gene Smith arrived by train with two large gray deer killed in the Wisconsin pineries. The venison was stored at Talbott bakery and Nelson Nibel’s market. Talbott plans to recount hunting stories, noting they are regular deer hunters who typically bring in two deer each year, though laws limit one per man.
