Thanksgiving cup shoot attracted large local attendance with a tense finish. Howard Adams tied with P. P. Brown at 24 of 25. Brown won the shoot off 7 to 10. Scores showed Adams 24, Clark 21, Proctor 22, Brown 24 with strong averages across shooters and a note of fun as the cup rotates among past holders.
Frank N. Fowler announces Ames Commercial club will meet Friday evening December 6 1907 at eight o'clock sharp in B A Lockwood grain company office. Election of officers is the chief agenda item with other business to follow. Fowler will not run for re election as secretary and treasurer.
