St John Golden Wedding Celebrated in Cedar Rapids Iowa
Mr and Mrs L C St John of 512 Ninth Avenue Cedar Rapids Iowa celebrated their golden wedding Friday evening November 18 1910. Davis and Roberts Couple Wed in Marathon Home
Harlan resident H K Davis and Miss Coral Roberts were married at the brides parents home in Marathon on Wednesday evening November 16. Miss Roberts graduated in 1910 and was active in student life while in college. Mr Davis, class of 1909 civil engineering graduate, belonged to Hawkeye fraternity. The newlyweds left Thursday for San Francisco and will proceed to the Philippines where Davis has a government post.

Engine Jumped the Track at Grand Avenue Crossing
A large mogul engine pulling an extra freight jumped the track near the Grand avenue crossing Monday morning. The engine broke loose from the tender and tore up the crossing bending the rails and tearing the brake shoes loose on the tender. The damage was only temporary and was soon repaired.
