Auto Collision Near Depot Leaves Two Hurt
A Saturday evening auto crash at Clark and Onondaga streets injured Lew Tillotson’s horse team and, though the machine damaged the surrey and broke the tongue, caused only bruises to the horses and minor injuries to Lew’s hand. Vera Childs Rose, riding in the auto, suffered a bad jolt but no serious harm. The driver Fred Wygle and Mr Tillotson faced shared responsibility as visibility was limited by dense bushes and the curve. The incident prompted a humorous note that autos should obey road rules.
