Mrs Seymour Seeks Divorce Custody And Home Equity

Mrs Carrie Seymour of this city to appear in district court next term to seek divorce from A. A. Seymour. She also asks for custody of their son and the remaining equity in their home valued around three thousand dollars. She contends he deserted her in 1907 and moved to Texas where he now plans his own divorce. An injunction is asked to prevent him from encumbering or taking possession of the home, which is already mortgaged for about two hundred dollars.

June Dunham Wins Ames High Chautauqua Contest

June Dunham daughter of Mr and Mrs O F Dunham of Clark Ave won the Ames High School representative contest for the Chautauqua to be held next fall. Floyd Wambeam earned second place and as alternate. The event at Congregational church drew a fair crowd despite weather and high admission.
