On Monday evening July 22 at nine o clock Mr W P Coon and Grace Underhill were united in marriage at the Christian church in Des Moines with Rev P M Kendall officiating. The couple, well known in this city, return to the groom's Riverside Farm three miles north of town after July 27. The groom, born nearby and farmer, is noted for his work with the Iowa Corn Growers Association. The bride, formerly of Eagle Grove and now residing near Ames, is praised for her accomplishments.
