A tragic Saturday killing of Captain T. H. Pickett casts gloom over the city. Burial took place Sunday at 5 PM in the city cemetery with Rev. P. L. Twitty officiating before hundreds. A Model Wagon Factory Moves Wagons and Carriages
Davaes October 28 Capt VA G Robinson and Mrs Farrar with daughters and about a dozen citizens went to Macon to attend the fair. Miss Jennie Stevens went yesterday. Wm C Paschal left for home with Mrs E Paselin visiting her father W A Turner. S. V. Brown runs a Main Street wagon factory and has produced over 1,260 wagons 29 drays and log carts and about 190 coaches. Two other wagon and carriage shops operate in town Melton Bros and Hy S Lee supply wagons from other cities. Brown sells at moderate prices and his work satisfies customers. Father-in-law Jana T Lee resists him.
