Memories of School Games and Marys Love Story
In boyhood I played with neighbors, hunted wild games, and dodged dogs in mock fox hunts, later moving to Randolph county near New Hope church. Mary, my first love, pursued by several doctors, finally married Dr. Lamar after I learned she had faced multiple suitors who died, and their child and parents followed in tragedy as death claimed them all.
