Commercial City Club Organized in Americus Social Scene
The Commercial City Club was formally adopted as Americus social club after a meeting last night. Organizers chose the name, ratified work by the A B A club committee on building and other lines, and urged rapid movement to complete the charter. A 20 percent stock call was approved, to be paid immediately. Meyers, Hollis and Hawkins were instructed to draft and file the charter. Also included are resolutions from Magnolia Sunday School honoring Maude Reid, with sympathy to her family, to be entered in the Sunday School records and published in the Americus Recorder.

Ordered by telegraph under a month ago the water powered press showcases modern improvements. With rising orders the shop plans more presses soon to keep up and boasts being the busiest printing plant south of Atlanta.
