Central Railroad board reelects Alexander to presidency
The Central Railroad and Banking Company of Georgia met at the pres ent office on Tuesday forenoon and re elected Gen. EKP Alexander to the presidency. T. M. Cunningham remained cashier and Patrick Calhoun became general counsel. Kessler & Co. of New York were named fiscal agents, with G. EK Kissel present to discuss financial plans. A financial committee was formed including H. M. Comer and others. Col. C. H. Phinizy praised new members and anticipated Eden and Americus extension. The Terminal Company votes solidly for Georgians, uniting management for state stockholders.
