Death of Mrs Perry near Americus and local notices
Mrs. Perry of near Americus died Sunday after a weeks long illness. She was sister in law to Mr. R. J. Perry and leaves a husband and several small children. Her remains were interred at Oak Grove cemetery yesterday at 10 AM. Also reports a Smithville business failure with liabilities above 7500 and assets around 4000 after a mortgage to F. M. Farley. Also notes show new subscription drive at 1.00 yearly and circus train incident with a damaged fender and rewards for a suspect.

The October adjourned term of Sumter Superior court convened with Judge Fort presiding and Solicitor General Hudson representing the State. Resolutions on the death of Col Beajah B.
