Egyptian cotton crop tops 3.7 million hundredweight

Four calves born to Khedive Pet Jersey cow near Greenville

Khedive Pet, a registered Jersey cow owned by Chas. H. Smith, Idlewild plantation two miles from Greenville, gave birth to four calves three females and one male. Calves are healthy with strong progeny. The dam, from the Khedive Jersey line, and sired by Mamie St Helier, No. 29081, owned by D J Pullin Bowling Green Ky. Mr. Smith would not accept payment for the cow or the calves.
